Kiaro keeps your clients, projects, time and invoices. If you already use an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, you can connect it to Kiaro and ask it to work with those records for you.

Kiaro stays the place where your records live. Your AI app does the asking and the writing. Kiaro does not use its own AI for anything a connected app asks for.

What you can ask for

Look things up. “What’s overdue?”, “How many hours did I log for Northwind last week?”, “Find everything about the Acme rebrand.”
Keep records up to date. Log time, start and stop the timer, add clients and contacts, create tasks, update a project, save meeting notes.
Prepare the paperwork. Draft an invoice from unbilled time, draft a proposal from one of your templates, set up a retainer.

What always waits for you

Some actions never happen straight away: sending something to a client, issuing or voiding an invoice, recording a payment, ending a retainer, and deleting or removing records. Your AI app gives you a link, you see exactly what will happen in Kiaro, and nothing changes until you click Approve. That covers:

sending an invoice, a reminder, a proposal or a contract for signature
issuing an invoice, marking it paid or voiding it, and marking a contract as sent
ending a retainer
deleting a client, project, task, time entry, invoice draft, proposal or knowledge article, and removing a client contact

Drafts are different: your AI app can create and edit draft invoices, proposals and contracts, and set up retainers, straight away. Nothing reaches your client without your approval.

What it can never do

A connected app cannot manage your plan or billing, delete your workspace, invite or remove members, change roles, set up or change Stripe or Xero, change your password or email, refund a payment, or manage connected apps. See Permissions and security.

Before you start

Every plan can connect. Your plan’s normal limits still apply, and requests from a connected app do not use your AI command allowance. See Limits and privacy.
Each person connects as themselves. The app can do what your role can do, and nothing more.
Owners and admins can turn AI apps off for the whole workspace in Settings > Connected apps.
