Email Configuration

Kiaro sends transactional emails on your behalf for key events. Email delivery is handled at the platform level, there’s no per-user email configuration required.

Emails Kiaro sends

Account & billing

  • Welcome, sent when you create your account
  • Subscription confirmed, sent when you subscribe to a paid plan
  • Payment received, receipt for successful subscription charges
  • Payment failed, notification when a subscription charge fails, with a link to update your payment method
  • Subscription cancelled, confirmation when you cancel your subscription
  • Trial reminder — sent a few days before your 30-day free trial expires

Invoicing

  • Invoice sent, delivered to your client when you send an invoice, includes a PDF attachment and payment link (if Stripe Connect is set up)
  • Payment received, sent to both you and your client when an invoice is paid online

Collaboration

  • Team invite — sent when you invite a team member (Team plan)
  • Portal invite, sent to clients when you enable their client portal access, includes a magic link to sign in

Digest

  • Weekly digest, a summary of the past week’s activity: revenue collected, invoices due, tasks completed, and upcoming deadlines. Sent every Monday morning.

Sender details

Transactional emails are sent from an automated address and cannot be replied to. If clients need to reach you, they should use your direct email address (which appears on invoices and in the client portal).

Email preferences

Currently, all transactional emails are enabled by default and cannot be individually toggled. The weekly digest can be disabled in Settings → Preferences.

Deliverability

Kiaro uses industry-standard security and authentication for reliable email delivery. If you or your clients aren’t receiving emails, check spam/junk folders first. Contact support if emails are consistently missing.
