Deliverables

Track project deliverables from creation through delivery and client approval. Attach files, set due dates, and give clients visibility through the portal.

Creating a deliverable

Go to Deliverables → New Deliverable and fill in:

  • Name, What is being delivered (e.g., “Homepage Mockup v1”)
  • Project, The project this deliverable belongs to (required). The dropdown shows each project with its client — “Project Name · Client Name” — so projects with the same name across different clients are never ambiguous.
  • Status, Pending, In Review, Delivered, or Approved
  • Due date, When the deliverable is expected
  • Notes, Internal notes about the deliverable

You can also attach files during creation or add them later by editing the deliverable.

Deliverable statuses

Track progress through the delivery workflow:

  • Pending, Work has not started or is in progress
  • In Review, Submitted for internal or client review
  • Delivered, Sent to the client
  • Approved, Client has accepted the deliverable

Advancing the status in one click

The deliverable detail page shows a single button for the next logical step — no need to open the edit form:

  • If the deliverable is Pending, the header shows Submit for Review.
  • If it’s In Review, the button becomes Mark as Delivered.
  • If it’s Delivered, the button becomes Approve.
  • Once Approved, no further transition is offered.

You can still use the edit form or the kanban board’s drag-and-drop if you need to move backwards or to a non-sequential status.

List and kanban views

The deliverables page supports two views:

  • List view, Table with columns for Name, Client, Project, Status, and Due Date. Filter by client or status, sort by various fields, and export as CSV.
  • Kanban board, Cards grouped by status column. Drag deliverables between columns to update their status instantly.

Overdue deliverables show a red indicator. Deliverables with file attachments show a file icon.

File attachments

Attach one or more files to any deliverable. Supported file types and size limits are described in File Management. Files attached to deliverables are visible to clients in the Client Portal when portal access is enabled.

Editing and deleting

Click any deliverable to view its detail page, then use the edit or delete buttons. Editing allows you to change all fields and manage file attachments.

CSV export

Export your deliverables list as a CSV file from the list page.
